If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
PASSIONATE. I put my whole heart into any task or project at hand. I love when a client comes in with an idea, maybe they are somewhat hesitant to try something new but eager for a change and trust me with the process. Them leaving with confidence is what fuels my passion for the next project.
What or who inspired you to become a stylist?
Growing up I would tag along to my Mom's catalog shoots and sit for hours on end watching the glam team do their thing. I admired their ability to make the models feel + look their best through hair, makeup + small conversation. My mom was in the fashion world, which I loved, but I knew I wanted to be behind the scenes doing the glam.
Are there any stylists you look up to personally and professionally?
JEN ATKIN - There is nothing she can’t accomplish!!
CHRISSY RASMUSSEN - She is an extension GOD and allll the hair goals!! I have to say she sets the bar pretty high for the rest of us because her work is unmatched, she has raw talent! I also think we would be great friends LOL.
What is your favorite and least favorite thing about being a salon owner?
My favorite part is having the ability to build a solid team of talented stylists. We are constantly evolving individually while motivating each other to do and be our best as a unit. And honestly, we have so much fun while doing it! I really don't have a least favorite part, I love everything about it!
